Bluegrass Care Navigators Names Dianna Madden Executive Director of Hospice Care Centers

Bluegrass Care Navigators is pleased to announce the selection of Dianna Madden as the executive director of the organization’s Hospice Care Centers in Lexington.

In her role, Madden will oversee hospice care operations within Saint Joseph Hospital, UK Healthcare and Baptist Health Lexington, as well as the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. Bluegrass Care Navigators provides inpatient hospice care to more than 1600 patients each year. Madden previously served in nurse management roles at both VA Medical Center and CHI Saint Joseph Health in Lexington.

“Dianna brings many years of nursing leadership experience in a variety of settings with her to this role,” said VP and Chief Hospice Officer Stephanie Green. “She is going to be a valuable addition to our wonderful hospice leadership team.”

Madden is a native of Lexington, Kentucky, and is a graduate of Pulaski County High School. She earned her BSN and MSN from Eastern Kentucky University, as well as a Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

Bluegrass Care Navigators provides hospice care in 32 counties across central, eastern and northern Kentucky. In addition, the agency supports those facing serious illness or chronic disease with private duty nursing, home primary care, transitional care, adult day health care, and palliative care services.
