Thanks to the generosity of our community, Bluegrass Care Navigators offers a free bereavement camp to children in our service area who have lost a loved one in the past two years.

Camp Hope provides a safe environment for children to share stories about their loved one, express grief through coping activities, establish new friendships and, of course, have fun! Camp Hope is staffed by Bluegrass Care Navigators’ counselors, social workers, chaplains and other experienced volunteers.

Dates: October 7- November 4 (that is 5 consecutive Thursdays)
Time: 5-6pm
Ages: 7-17

Registration deadline: September 23, 2021

This free virtual camp is designed for children and adolescents who have experienced the death of a loved one in the past 2 years. It will provide children and teens the opportunity to connect with others around the state who have had a similar experience and cover topics such as normal reactions to loss, sharing experiences, and learning how to cope with difficult feelings. The camp will take place via Zoom and will be divided into age specific groups. Boxes of supplies will be delivered to participant’s homes prior to the start date.

Space is limited for each camp. Please apply today by using the application below. If you have any questions, please call 855.492.0812.
