Bright Path

A serious illness in a family is difficult to handle. When it is your child, you need special support and care through this trying time. Bright Path, a pediatric palliative care program, is specialized medical care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults who are living with a serious illness.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life of your family, by providing comfort to your child while building your confidence with education and support. Bright Path can help manage symptoms for many pediatric illnesses and chronic conditions, include progressive cancer, neuromuscular disorders, genetic or congenital diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular conditions and pulmonary disorders.

Collaboration of Care

Pediatric palliative care surrounds your family with a team of experts who work together to support all of you. We will work with you and your child to make a plan of care for your family. Our multidisciplinary team consists of nurse coordinators, nurses, clinical social workers, and chaplains. Our comprehensive care includes identifying and treating symptoms, medication management, establishing goals of care and implementation, and fostering spiritual support and counseling. Your family will have access to our care team through a 24-hour call center for support and guidance.
