Bluegrass Care Navigators Receives Grant from Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels

Bluegrass Care Navigators is proud to announce that we have received a generous grant from the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels (HOKC) to purchase four portable oxygen concentrators. These essential medical supplies will bring comfort and ease to our hospice patients, allowing them to cherish life’s special moments with their loved ones while in our care.

HOKC awarded $2.5 million in grants, supporting 325 non-profits and impacting more than 3.9 million Kentuckians.  Grants are made possible through donations from Kentucky Colonels from throughout the Commonwealth and around the world who chose to exercise the honor of being named a Kentucky Colonel in a meaningful way. 

 

According to Commanding General Gary Boschert: “2023 / 2024 was a challenging year for fulfilling Grant Requests, with over $5 million in total requests. We were able to distribute $2.5 million through the Good Works Program that each of you generously supports. Every dollar you contribute to the Good Works Program goes out to nonprofits in the Commonwealth. Thank you for your support!”

New Grants Expands Transportation Services for Older Adults in Bluegrass PACE Care

Bluegrass Care Navigators has received grant funding from Truist Foundation and the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) to purchase an additional transportation van for Bluegrass PACE participants in Fayette County. The new van will expand Bluegrass PACE Care’s existing transportation fleet, helping meet growing demand and ensuring participants can reliably access the care and services they need.
