WHAS Crusade for Children Awards Grant to Bluegrass Care Navigators
WHAS Crusade for Children awarded Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) a $6500 grant to purchase a Trilogy Evo Ventilator to better support children and teens in our hospice care. This ventilator is a cross-functional machine that is designed for use in multiple environments. With 15 hours of battery life, it allows patients an increased level of mobility to achieve a higher quality of life during treatment.
“Our team is committed to providing expert care to all of our patients, and we are grateful to once again be awarded funds to better serve and improve the quality of life for our younger patients,” Laura Klumb, VP of Philanthropy and Marketing, said. “We know that a serious illness, especially when it is a child, is difficult to handle, and this grant will allow us to better serve and support these patients and their families.”
WHAS Crusade for Children is committed to making life better for children with special needs by inspiring generosity with community partners to provide necessary resources for these children and their families. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the WHAS Crusade for Children and its dedicated Board of Directors and Advisory Panel. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to the work we do at BCN. Together, we are transforming futures and creating a world where every child’s smile shines a little brighter.
